Victorian S.R. Bailey Wagon Pony Mini Horse Drawn Carriage Tricycle & Yoke

Completely customized circa 1901 pony wagon by S.R. Bailey Whalebone Road Wagons No. 6381. We pulled this amazing cart with the tricycle to sell crystals, jewelry, incense & perfume oils at street festivals. This entire set up gets an INSANE amount of attention from customers and always gets photographed by festival press (which means more exposure for you). Sometimes we would get surrounded by so many people that we just had to park! The wagon: All original with tons of added fancy paint and decorative flair. It has steps on the sides, a simple wooden bench seat, a footrest rail and a whip holder. The slatted floorboard has some holes from it's former storage in a barn but the bottom is stable. There is a small section that is seperated on the back left side which is stable and causes no structural issues. The tires are strong, roll beautifully and hold air well. These wagons were the predecessor of the earliest automobiles and were considered "state of the art" for the time with the tube tires and spoked rims. The frame is all metal. I've given full sized adults rides on this so it is NOT fragile. We had the metal connector piece custom made to fit this tricycle and wagon. It connects to the Tricycle by dropping in a simple bolt. It connects to the wagon with 2 cotter pins. Very easy for one person to connect/disconnect. The tricycle is extremely high quality by Trailmate also custom painted. You can google this company to see the general price of these high quality Trikes. The extra wide, padded seat has been covered in cloth. It has a large rear basket and a handlebar basket. Brakes work great. All tires and tubes have been replaced within the last 4 years. This trike handles and rolls very well. It's surprisingly easy to ride around with a lot of weight in the wagon! The wooden yoke came with the wagon. The former owner said that she had her pony connected to it at some point but I don't know how to use it or how to assess the condition. The wood is very stable but it is a little dry so it could use some oil or paint. We will leave that up to the new owner. I can provide additional photos if there are specific parts that you would like to see. It has been kept in a clean, dry garage since I've owned it. I swore that I would never sell this but we are moving somewhere that I do not have a place to store it. The contents of the wagon are not included but we can leave the tall necklace shelf (at the front of the wagon) since it was made specifically to fit it. We have used this so there may be imperfections of the paint, sticker residue on the bench seat, etc I will not separate these parts. This price is fair and firm. No haggling necessary. Obviously we can not ship these items so they will have to be picked up before 6/1/2021 in Portland, IN 47371. We have not figured out how to take the wheels off of the wagon so please message us for measurements.
