    Description

I will do my best to describe this item, but it was very hard to research so I hope all my information is accurate
For sale is what is believed to be an 2 axle nut sockets for a 2-1/2 ton military truck (Duce and a half). The only markings on this piece are the numbers 10897070. This was found in a three generation military surplus store, that started in the 40s, and had a lot of mechanical parts left over from World War II. This piece does have a little rust to it, but I don’t think was ever in service. It appears to have a three-quarter inch drive to it, and has a 3 inch opening for the axle nut/hub nut/wheel bearing/whatever it was supposed to hook up to. Based on the construction, I’m sure this was produced by one of the larger tool manufactures of the time, but I don’t know which company produced this.
I do have more than one of these available, so while you may not receive the exact item in the picture you will receive one and equal or better condition. All of these have a combination of some light surface rust/and grease or cosmoline (The military grease used to preserve metal). Wally’s are dirty, they have not been used before. They do clean up well. They will be individually packed, and wrapped in plastic for shipment.
Shipping for this item will be .95 to the lower 48.  Outside of this area to pay actual shipping charges.
