    Leaf Fossil -Neuropteris, St. Claire, PA -Llewellyn Formation (300 MYO)
    This plate contains two leaves one very distinct on the right side of the plate and the other on the left side which is less pronounced.
    The Llewellyn was deposited upon a broad flat plain with sediment-choked rivers.  There
    a large amount of organic matter was buried and eventually turned to coal. Many plant fossils have been recovered there.
