IFF LIGHT SET (IDENTIFY FRIEND or FOE) RED-GREEN LIGHTs FOR B-17 FLYING FORTRESS

IFF Lights (Identify Friend or Foe) were used on many aircraft during WWII. The B-17 had three lights on it's belly, Red, Green, and Amber (From front to back) and as part of the IFF system on the B-17 there was also a white light on the roof.  I am selling the red and green IFF lights. The Colored lights on the belly were controlled by a switch that allowed any combination of the lights to be illuminated (and flashed if desired). This is a complete set of IFF lights (NOS) like those used in the B-17 and other WWII era aircraft. They are not used lights, but because of their age they have some minor scratches and chips in the paint. This is the set of 2 of the 3 "Belly" lights, and they are very collectable. There are not many of these left in existence, and to find them NOS is nearly impossible! This lights will be shipped in a large USPS priority box with ample cushioning to protect the lights. Because these lights are NOS we are unsure of the date of manufacture of the lights, we only know that they are IFF lights that were used in many WWII era aircraft, the B-17 being one of the more popular.
